About me, if you must know...

Coming from New Orleans, Louisiana, I grew up in an environment rich in culture and history.

I came to appreciate all good things both established and new. This fed directly into my design perspective. Attending SCAD for Graphic Design and Advertising immersed me into a methodology of design

and aesthetic which was far different from where I grew up, and served to strengthen my appreciation

for the arts and all forms of communication design. I came into the idea that design isn't simply a state of mind. It is not who you are at a computer or in your clothes. Design is a worldwide perspective; a lens through which we see and analyze ourselves and everything around us. Whether that be while walking down the street

or sitting in a lecture, the designer's mind is always working and thinking; always finding ways to better

the world around them. Good design should never simply get the job done. True design, a functioning system, solves a problem and serves a lasting function. I believe this whole-heartedly, and during my time in attendance at SCAD, I had the opportunity to apply that to multiple projects in different ways
(testing the design waters and strengthening my skills).
